Kent B2B Ashford is a prime opportunity for businesses in Kent (United Kingdom) to connect with organisations of all sizes and in all sectors, showcase products & services, and learn more about what is happening in Kent.
Last year’s Kent B2B Ashford event was a great success with about 100 businesses exhibiting and close to 500 delegates.
Document360 is located in Sidcup which borders the London Boroughs of Bromley and Greenwich, but in the historic county of Kent. Being a local event, this was the stage for Document360’s first foray into such exhibitions. We secured an exhibitor spot (Booth No: 53) few months prior to the event. The best part was this event happened the next day (June 7) after our own three day INTEGRATE 2018 event at etc.Venues, London (June 4—6).
Document360 at Kent B2B Event 2018
We arrived bright and early on the morning of 7th June at Ashford International Hotel. This was our first opportunity to tell local companies in Kent about our product and we left no stone unturned.
The morning went quickly as the footfall was heavy at our booth. There were curious faces wanting to know if we had built the product in house; and weren’t selling a product we’d purchased. To expand on that:
The product is more than just a Documentation solution. It’s easy to use interface means that many small businesses could write their own documentation. They no longer need to employ expensive website designers.
Depending on the interest level, we explained the features of the product with specific examples that related to their business. We received lot of interest and collected a list of interested enquiries for post event follow-up.
Few features of Document360 that drew interest among the visiting audience were —
- Backup — you would never lose data from your knowledge base
- Collaborative authoring experience — by sharing access to the document with multiple users
- Public access for all or user authenticated documentation; only those who have access can view the pages
During the afternoon, we visited some of the other booths to spread the word about Document360. We also got to know some of the other local businesses in Kent area.
We called it a day at 4 PM and headed home. It was a fruitful outing for Document360.
